As part of the Arab Eye Academy International Conference 2025 (December 10–12 at Bibliotheca Alexandrina), we proudly open the door for scientific contributions in the form of Papers, E-posters, Videos, and Course Proposals.

This is a unique opportunity for ophthalmologists and researchers from Arab countries and beyond to showcase their clinical experience, research, innovations, and teaching skills.

This track is designed for scientific studies, clinical audits, research projects, and interesting case series or reports. Authors may choose between oral presentation (paper) or e-poster presentation based on content and format.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Language: English
  • Abstract limit: 300 words
  • Structure: Background – Methods – Results – Conclusion
  • File format: Word or PDF
  • Presenting author must be registered for the conference
  • Posters will be digital or printed – details will follow upon acceptance.
  • Oral presentations will be 6–8 minutes.
  • Submission deadline : 1 September, 2025 

This track is for educational surgical videos or innovative visual content relevant to ophthalmology. Submissions may include techniques, tips, complication management, or new technologies.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Maximum duration: 5 minutes
  • Language: English narration or English subtitles
  • Format: MP4 or MOV, HD quality
  • File size: Up to 1 GB
  • Must include brief description (100–150 words) of the technique/idea
  • Videos must be original work, not published or presented in other conferences and anonymized (no patient-identifiable info)
  • Accepted video presenters have to be registered to the conference
  • By submitting participant agreed to allow Arab Eye Academy to publish their videos with credit to participant
  • Submission deadline : 1 September, 2025

We invite proposals for instructional courses or skill-based workshops relevant to ophthalmic practice. Courses can be didactic, interactive, or hands-on, and must provide clear educational value to attendees.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Course Title: Clear and concise
  • For 60-minute courses: Course Director name & Co-instructors (maximum of 4)

  • For 90-minute courses: Course Director name & Co-instructors (maximum of 6)

  • Duration: 60 or 90 minutes
